Curriculum
Our program is designed to use Martial Arts as a mentoring tool to develop self disciplined, respectful kids with leadership skills and strong character.
Our Training Philosophy
Fifty or sixty years ago, only a very small percentage of martial art students achieved their black belts. They were only achievable to exceptionally gifted athletes. Martial arts schools of this kind hold a standard that is very hard for students to achieve. Another type of school is known as a “McDojo.” This kind of dojo hands out black belts to their students in return for merely a payment. Students don’t need to put any effort or motivation into their training. Neither of these philosophies are ones we hold at TMMA. We believe that every student can benefit through the systematic way we develop respect, discipline, and character in each student. This method requires the very best out of each student. We also understand that each student has different abilities, talents and limits which we accommodate. Our goal is to help each and every student reach their full potential by helping them do their best in every class. Our black belts are motivated students and are rewarded for their effort.
